A diatom is a fresh water algae that has fossilized, sometimes referred to as fossil shell flour.  There are huge deposits of it across the US, but out of 600, only 4 are considered pure enough to be food grade.  Ours is!  

It works beneficially in many different ways. Some of the benefits of using DTE internally include reducing odours, helping to curb gas, cleansing the digestive tract, boosting liver function & absorbing harmful toxins within the blood.
